Earlier this year we helped a client purchase their ideal ski condo in the Snow Flower community adjacent to Park City Mountain Resort.  They'll use this condo to rent out and for their mountain-town vacations.  Congratulation to these new 2nd home owners.

As though living in Park City isn’t wonderful enough, it also has some worthwhile half-day road trip destinations in all directions.  Each with its own personality and interesting adventures: Moab, Vernal, Zion, Bryce, Bonneville Salt Flats, Sun Valley, and Bear Lake to name a few. 

This weekend’s half-day road trip was to Jackson, WY.  A place that’s rugged, wild, and awe inspiring. 

With a handful of winter sports to select from, we decided to further explore Jackson’s Nordic scene. 

We’ve skated the Teton Pines course in the past. We’d recommend this well groomed locations in the shadows of the Tetons. 

On this trip we tried out some new-to-us trails.  Emily’s Pond trail parallels the Snake river across front the Jackson Hole Resort. It’s a 4.5 mile lollipop loop that was well traveled by locals on foot, fat bike, and Nordic skis.  More dogs than people, just how we like it! We even spotted a mama and baby moose, Chandra’s ‘spirit’ animal.

That afternoon we headed up Cache Creek trail for a snowy hike on the east side of the town of Jackson.  More friendly locals and dogs, and another moose male this time.  Cache creek would be fun with classic skis and fat bikes, in addition to hiking. 

House Beautiful created a top 10 list for luxury property features.  What features does your dream property have?  For me, I'm always going to want to be close to natural beauty... hence the Park City Life!  There are plenty of properties around town that have many of these qualities.
