State of Park City

On Tuesday evening, Mayor Andy Beerman, reviewed the State of Park City and the directional plans towards 2030.  He described Park City as "a mining- town, that became a ski-town, that has most recently become a "zoom-town" welcoming our newest residents and encouraging all residents to "love where you live".

Currently, the town is working towards a net zero energy goal for the city operations, creating options for a more vehicle optional lifestyle, additional affordable housing for those working in the community, and the new Arts District.

Nordic Skiing

Have you tried Nordic Skiing yet?

This sport and the availability of trails in and around Park City has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 10 years.  I'm happy to report that there are trails in close proximity to all neighborhoods in Park City and many of these trails are maintained for public use.  We have a family ski pass at White Pine Nordic center as we love their trail system and the world class grooming, however we also frequent the public trails of Round Valley, Utah Olympic Park, and around Snyderville Basin.  Jeremy Ranch has a fun trail on their golf course as well!

More to come on this sport that offers excellent physical exercise along with another opportunity to be in the beautiful outdoors.
